Set within a natural meadow along the quarried landscape of Birds Hill Provincial Park, Birds Hill House is carefully embedded within a dense tree line, allowing the architecture to recede into the site. Conceived as a gathering place for an expanding family, the home is organized around shared spaces that encourage connection across generations.

Two primary gabled volumes are linked by low-sloping roofs and covered exterior rooms, breaking down the scale of the residence and reinforcing a quiet relationship with the landscape. Without a defined front or back, the house responds equally to each cardinal direction, framing views and light conditions unique to the property.
